Have to admit I hated those cold winters. But there was something fun about being up north at a cottage and having to start your car and run back inside to let it warm up for 15min then take off in the middle of a snowstorm at night.

How did you like the 6 speed? It’s gonna get a manual swap in the spring & I’m torn between the older c5/b5 unit & the newer b6/7 trans. The latter is way more money is supposedy better

Damn. Nokian doesn’t make tires big enough for the HEMIWagon. I nearly got a set of Falken EuroWinters, but ended up re-mounting my Yokohamas. Glad I got them on too because the HEMIWagon had no issues tonight. A little wheel slip going up the hill to my girlfriends house, and a little side to side wiggle when I romped on it at the top, but that was all me. I think the combination of winter tire and LSD has really made me happy. Great all around combination.

The 01e has really springy and quite long throws, but the ratios were near perfect.

I love those hemiwagons! Do they take really wide tires? I’m running 235/40/18 in the winter down sizing from 255/35/19 pss’s in the summer

Thanks! Been trying to buy this one off my mom for 10 years, she finally ran out of garage space!

Stock size is 225/60R18.
Im running much wider because it makes the whole car look better and feel way more stable. Supposedly a 265 will fit on the rear, but any wider and you need to roll the fenders and tweak the exhaust pipes because they poke into the wheel well just a tiny bit.
If you get the clearance, maybe a 285 would be the widest? Depends on the rim size and offset too, if you played around enough you could probably get close to a 305, but as wide as it is, 305 is a lot of tire to stuff into it.
